BROADOAKS PARK WINS GOLD

Broadoaks Park Home

Octagon’s flagship community of 126 homes in West Byfleet, Surrey, has won the ‘GOLD’ award for Best Luxury Development at the prestigious WhatHouse? Awards 2023.

Drawing hundreds of entries from the most revered brands in the housebuilding industry, the annual awards celebrate the successes of housebuilders and developers across the UK, with 21 categories and Bronze, Silver and Gold available in each.

Winning the GOLD award, Broadoaks Park was commended for its community-led design and high quality finish, with the judges proclaiming;

“Luxury doesn’t have to be villas on steroids at eye-watering prices. It can be a multi-home development that actually says inclusivity as much as exclusivity, and nowhere is this illustrated better than at Broadoaks Park.”

“Octagon is one of the best-in-class when it comes to showstopping one-off villas for individual clients, but this 25-acre scheme is a delightful collection of homes, made up of brand-new builds alongside Grade II Listed conversions – testimony to Octagon’s array of construction skills and design innovations.

Since launching in 1980, Octagon have been the winner of many WhatHouse? Awards across their history – but every award is as important as the last.

Tim Banks, CEO, comments “I am incredibly proud we have won the GOLD WhatHouse? award for Broadoaks Park, in the ‘Best Luxury Development’ category. With our reputation for building high quality homes and excellent customer service, this category is particularly significant and parallels with our core values and focus – creating exceptional and luxurious homes and developments people aspire to live in.

“The Surrey development is a true testament to both the Octagon brand and the team behind it – designing and delivering a scheme such as this takes skill and passion in equal measures.

“A huge congratulations and my personal thanks to the whole Octagon team, our suppliers and of course, our wonderful clients.”
